This model shares the same design features as Yamaha Handmade models. The headjoint is very important in determining the sound of a flute. Yamaha 500 series flutes feature, at a very affordable price, a 92.5% pure sterling silver headjoint with a nickel silver body and foot joint for a dark warm tone.

This also features open hole keys which allows players more control and comfort while playing. Characterized by a beautiful clear tone, this instrument offers extremely accurate intonation and an easy playability.
