Yamaha Tenor Sax YTS61S Vintage Pro Model - $4,500.00

DR TOOT presents a pre-loved Yamaha Tenor Saxophone YTS61S.

Yes, it is a Japanese vintage professional model by Yamaha.  Yes, it is a very rare in silver finish.  It has just arrived from Japan and serviced by DR TOOT.

We have sold a few of the 61 alto and tenor saxophones, however this is the first silver plated 61 we have had in stock, which you do not see often…even in Japan.

This YTS61S has been overhauled in Japan and has Chanu French pads, and all pads are in excellent condition.  The body and neck have the original silver on it.

The 61 is the first pro model by Yamaha in Japan and released in late 1960.  Yamaha did not make many of the silver plated 61, so it makes this sax very rare and sought after.  The 61 was built and modelled off the Selmer Mark Vl.

Yanagisawa Alto Saxophone A990 - $3,980.00

DR TOOT presents a pre-loved Yanagisawa Pro Model Alto Saxophone A990.

The 990 Series was produced from 1990 to 1998.  According to the serial number, this alto saxophone was produced in 1994.  

This is exactly like the current model A991, except that the thumb rest and hook are made of plastic.  This saxophone is very free blowing and very even in both registers.

DR TOOT presents a pre-loved Keilwerth Alto Saxophone EX90 Series lll.

Keilwerth is well known for its high quality professional saxophones. It is a current model - According to the serial number, we believe that this saxophone is only a few years old.

The EX90 Series lll is the semi pro model by Keilwerth, and parts made in Germany by Keilwerth. Assembled and finished in the Czech Republic.

This saxophone has a famous “fat, loud and dark” Keilwerth sounds.  If someone is after a huge full sound, this is the one for you.

Yamaha Professional Alto Saxophone YAS62ll - $2,980.00

DR TOOT presents a Pre-Loved Yamaha Alto Saxophone Professional Model YAS62ll.

Yamaha 62 series is the current model and has been very popular among professional players all over the world. This 62ll (62-2) series was made by Yamaha in Japan from 1995 to 2002, especially for Japan and European markets only. 

The comfort level of the key lay out and the excellent playability of the horn makes this instrument joy to perform.  It is a very reliable alto sax and has got a powerful, dark and mellow sound.

Yamaha Flute YFL385llRH - $1,800.00

DR TOOT presents a Pre-Loved Yamaha Flute YFL385IIRH.

Yamaha 300 series flutes have a solid silver headjoint and intermediate level of flutes.  However, this 385 model has lots of professional features, such as stainless steel springs (corrosion-resistant and long-lasting), straight, headed pivot screws (accurate adjustment and resistant to binding)…etc.

It comes with a B foot.  This flute is made in Japan and assembled in USA.

DR TOOT presents a pre-loved Yamaha tenor sax YTS34ll.

This is a semi professional model and the previous model of current model YTS475, which is available new for $4,395 RRP in New Zealand.  

The YTS34ll has most of the same features as the Yamaha professional model YTS62, but without the price tag.  We have sold a few of this model to our customers and they are all very happy with their saxophones.

This particular YTS34ll comes with the latest G1 neck and a Yamaha Custom 5CM mouthpiece.  The G1 neck produces very loud and more focused sound than other Yamaha necks. 

This sax has a smooth, rich and mellow tone. Excellent intonation with very smooth key action.  A must for the serious tenor sax player.
