Altus flutes are very popular among flute players around the world, for their free blowing and excellent intonation.  Altus flutes are made in Japan by hand-made craftsmanship.  

The Altus 807E features a solid silver lip plate, in fact its the perfect example of the build quality and expertise being just as important, if not more, than the amount of silver on the flute.
