DR TOOT presents a pre-loved Yamaha Tenor Saxophone YTS61S.

Yes, it is a Japanese vintage professional model by Yamaha.  Yes, it is a very rare in silver finish.  It has just arrived from Japan and serviced by DR TOOT.

We have sold a few of the 61 alto and tenor saxophones, however this is the first silver plated 61 we have had in stock, which you do not see often…even in Japan.

This YTS61S has been overhauled in Japan and has Chanu French pads, and all pads are in excellent condition.  The body and neck have the original silver on it.

The 61 is the first pro model by Yamaha in Japan and released in late 1960.  Yamaha did not make many of the silver plated 61, so it makes this sax very rare and sought after.  The 61 was built and modelled off the Selmer Mark Vl.
